Brooklyn Park Man Hopes to Make Difference Through Online Tutoring Platform
Clifton Manneh knows from experience — equitable education is essential.
The Brooklyn Park entrepreneur started Konduct Coach Learning in 2018 in hopes of teaching thousands of students about coding.
“The concept came up just growing up in the community where there is a lot of chaos you know we didn’t have access to resources, mentorship and things of that nature and such,” Manneh said.

Now, the online coding platform offers all-subject tutoring.
“The concept came about early March of 2022, a parent reached out to me like okay I see that you guys are teaching students how to code, but is there any possibility that you know you can teach my son math and reading? He’s currently struggling within these specific areas.”
Demand fueled the idea – but Manneh credits his mother for his passion.
They immigrated to the U.S. from Monrovia, Liberia in 1999 and quickly learned about the opportunities to turn passion into profit.
“When we moved here in early 1999, she took this idea of perfecting her craft in cooking, and she started a community-based organic restaurant and through there I got my early introduction into entrepreneurship,” Manneh said.
Manneh is hoping the platform will inspire youth to pursue careers in technology — while simultaneously helping to bridge the education gap.
“To provide affordable, all-subject and quality tutoring to all students of all race, background and ethnicity.”
Manneh says the tutoring platform will officially launch in June.
