Brooklyn Park Launches First-Ever Restaurant Week
Brooklyn Park is celebrating diversity one meal at a time. The city kicked off its first-ever restaurant week on Monday.
There are five participating businesses including El Rancho Mexican Restaurant, which opened seven months ago.
In honor of restaurant week, El Rancho will have special deals. They include Taco Tuesday with tacos for $1.25 and an all-day happy hour on Wednesday.
“There’s a lot of people that traveled to Mexico. There’s a lot of Hispanic population living in the area as well as other ethnicities, so it’s good to have real (authentic) food for them to try,” explained Ramon Ruelas, owner of El Rancho.
Each participating restaurant will also give away a $25 gift card to customers who participate in the city’s social media contest happening throughout the week.
