Brooklyn Park Kid Inventor is on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon”
Alexander Xiong lives in Brooklyn Park, but is turning heads for his toy invention called Door Pong. Xiong recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to teach Fallon how to play Door Pong.
“It all started with my autistic sister, so she was having trouble playing traditional ping pong,” Xiong told Fallon. “So then I asked my dad to hang a ping pong ball from the door so she could practice hitting and improve on her hand-eye coordination.”
Fallon also gave Xiong a check for $5,000 to further his education. You can see the entire story here.
We first met Xiong back in 2017 for this story, when he was a student at Champlin Brooklyn Park Academy. He taught his class how to play the game, which at that time he called Aeropong.
