Brooklyn Park Identifies Legislative Priorities
Brooklyn Park will outline its legislative priorities at this week’s city council meeting. Topping the list of transportation needs includes converting Highway 252 to a freeway. While the majority of the funding is in place, local communities along Highway 252 may have to share some of the costs.
Other priorities include planning for light rail extension and increasing state aid to address street repairs.
