Brooklyn Park Girls Helping Homeless
Some Brooklyn Park girls are spending their summer vacation helping others in need. Sophia and Ellie Grabow set up shop in the 4300 block of Marigold Avenue North. They say they really don’t mind standing out in the hot sun to sell lemonade because this endeavor is all about helping out the homeless.
The plan is to get enough money to buy sandwiches and other items for people in need.
“We want to buy them razors to shave and some other things so they can be healthy and just be good people,” said Sophia Grabow.
“We want to make sure that the homeless are treated the way that we, us people get treated,” said Sophia’s sister, Ellie.
The girls came up with the idea after seeing homeless people in the area. And you still have time to help them out. They plan to continue the sale through Friday.
