Brooklyn Park Church Offers ‘Halloween Hot Spots’
Churches often put on events as part of their outreach during Halloween. This year Grace Fellowship Church in Brooklyn Park has really made its outreach, reach out.
“We used to do trunk-or-treat here at the church. And we had all kinds of people from the community. About three years ago we decided, ‘hey instead of the church expecting the people to come to us, let’s go to them.’ Let’s take it out to the communities and have it in the neighborhoods,” said Tim Bastron, outreach pastor at Grace Fellowship Church.
The church is sponsoring 14 Halloween Hot Spots around the area on Sunday, Halloween evening, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. At each location there will be treats, a bouncy house and other goodies. They’ll also have teal pumpkin treats for kids with food allergies.
