Brooklyn Park Police: Child Hospitalized, Found in Edinburgh Golf Course Pond
Brooklyn Park police say a child is hospitalized after being found in a pond at Edinburgh USA golf course.
Officials say the situation started around 10 a.m. Wednesday when police got a call about a 3-year-old boy on the autism spectrum who had wandered away from his home.
During the search, a group of golfers told police they had seen some shoes in a nearby pond. That’s where police found the boy.
Brooklyn Park police say the child was pulled from the pond and not breathing. At last report, the child was listed in critical condition at North Memorial Health Hospital, police said.
