Brooklyn Park Businesses Hit By Gunfire
As Brooklyn Park police and Hennepin County deputies worked to break up a large disturbance at Central Park, police say they heard shots fired a short distance away.
Police say gunfire had struck a pair of businesses, Speedy Market and Papa John’s, in a nearby strip mall at about 10:45 p.m. Monday. Officers located several shell casings and bullet holes that hit both businesses, police said.
On Tuesday, plywood went up to replace shattered glass at the Speedy Market.
No one was injured in the incident, which remains under investigation.
