Brooklyn Center Voters Trim Field in City Council Primary
A field of six candidates was trimmed to four for two open seats on the Brooklyn Center City Council.
The top vote-getters were Kris Lawrence-Anderson, the lone incumbent, as well as Gretchen Enger, Laurie Ann Moore and Andrew Johnson.
Members of the Brooklyn Center City Council serve four-year terms.

- Gretchen Enger 792 votes 21.90%
- Laurie Ann Moore 620 votes 17.14%
- Andrew Johnson 530 votes 14.65%
- Jamal A. Said 458 votes 12.66%
- Joshua Jenson 318 votes 8.79%
