Brooklyn Center Man Develops “We Love to Play”
A Brooklyn Center nonprofit called We Love to Play makes sure that adults with disabilities have the opportunity to play recreational sports after they leave high school.
“We have people who come in with long term knee injuries to people with severe cerebral palsy,” says We Love to Play Founder Charlies Brose.
The Program is a Gift
Players say we love to play gives them an opportunity to get exercise and socialize as well. One parent described the experience for her son, as ‘a gift.’ For more information about we love to play click here.
