Brooklyn Center Hotel Employee Named ‘Hospitality Rockstar of the Year’
Nate Grommersch is the front desk supervisor at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapols North hotel in Brooklyn Center. Minneapolis Northwest Tourism named him its 2020 ‘Hospitality Rockstar of the Year.’
“He has great attitude, great personality. So it’s a plus. It’s a plus and plus and plus,” said JJ Voda, regional director of sales for Embassy Suites.
Grommersch was nominated by several other managers and coworkers at the hotel.
“I like to show a good first impression. Especially working in hospitality, you have to show the guest that you’re here for them and that you care about them,” said Grommersch.
He received a $500 Visa gift card for his good work and framed plaque for being recognized. Minneapolis Northwest Tourism recognizes Hospitality Rockstars once a quarter with an overall winner at the end of the year.
