Brooklyn Center Gives Initial OK to Tenant Protection Ordinance
The Brooklyn Center City Council has passed the first reading of a new ordinance that is supposed to further protect tenants of affordable housing from eviction. It would require a new owner of an affordable housing property to relocate tenants if the new owner plans to raise the rent.
