Brooklyn Center Denny’s Restaurant Closes
A longtime purveyor of pancakes and other breakfast classics in Brooklyn Center has closed.
The Denny’s location, located at 6405 James Cir. N., served its last meal on Monday, Sept. 15.
According to a sign on the door, it had been in business for more than 30 years.
Denny’s corporate office did not respond to a request for comment before this story was published. However, the chain had announced plans to close about 150 of its underperforming restaurants by the end of the year.
There are 12 other Denny’s restaurants in Minnesota.
The closure comes as many large restaurant chains such as Red Lobster and TGI Fridays are closing locations across the country.
