Brooklyn Center CVS Pharmacy Store To Close Jan. 30
Finding a local pharmacy will get more difficult for customers seeking a prescription. That’s due to an upcoming store closure in Brooklyn Center.
The CVS pharmacy at the intersection of Brooklyn Boulevard and Bass Lake Road plans to close on Jan. 30.
In an official statement, CVS says it look at several factors in closing stores, including “local market dynamics” and “population shifts.”
All prescriptions at the Brooklyn Center location will be transferred to the CVS pharmacy in Robbinsdale.
The Brooklyn Center CVS manager told CCX News that there are around 12 employees at the store who will be offered jobs at other CVS locations.
CVS officials say the Brooklyn Center pharmacist will be relocated to the Robbinsdale location.
Customers off-camera called the closure a hardship, saying it’s difficult to see another business close in Brooklyn Center.
Scoreboard Pizza, which had been in the city for 40 years, closed late in 2024.
There remains a Walgreens pharmacy location in Brooklyn Center.
