Battle of the Badges for Plymouth and Maple Grove
Saturday was not the perfect day for softball.
But Maple Grove and Plymouth police and firefighters showed up in good spirits. They were ready to play a game in the “Battle of the Badges.”
Heritage Christian Academy’s Leadership Group hosted the group in a local game.
“We have an impact project that we do at the end of the year. And we decided it’s time for us to serve and thank the police and firefighters
who serve and protect us every day,” said associate athletic director Lori Crellin.
After the game, the group treated police and firefighters to free sandwiches.
