Art Lands on Robbinsdale City Hall Generator
Butterflies now adorn the generator at Robbinsdale City Hall. Cultivate Bottineau helped create the art, as part of an effort to beautify the future Bottineau Blue Line Extension.
Artist-led creative projects like this one make up Cultivate Bottineau: Culture, Community and Commerce. The projects must be near the future corridor of the Bottineau LRT. The McKnight Foundation funds the effort and Hennepin County Bottineau Community Works, Springboard for the Arts, and other cities coordinate the project.
Josh Bindewald completed the butterfly project at city hall, which is also near a large rain garden.
