Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley Receives Pets Escaping Tropical Storm Beta
The Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley assisted a shelter in Texas that was flooded during Tropical Storm Beta. The organization is taking in 32 dogs, including lots of puppies, from the Montgomery County Animal Shelter in Houston. After a long drive, the pups arrived Wednesday morning via a transport van.

“It’s really important to leave space in the shelters down there for animals who might get displaced because of the natural disaster. So, it’s always a goal to have enough warning to get animals moving north ahead of time. So these are animals that were already in their shelter,” said Molly Morgan with the Animal Humane Society.
