Affordable Housing Project in Plymouth Moves Forward
Cranberry Ridge is an apartment complex that would bring more affordable living to Plymouth. This week the city approved a tax increment financing loan of $527, 000 toward the project.
Cranberry Ridge is a project of the Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative and would be a complex with 47 apartments. It would be located near Highway 55 and Old Rockford Road. According to Beacon Interfaith, most of the families living at Cranberry Ridge will be earning between $20,000 and $45,000 per year.
Advocates hope to break ground sometime this year.
