A Closer Look at the Beauty of Frost
If you look close enough, you can see beauty all around us. Our photojournalist captured the intricacies of frost on top of frozen Schaper Pond this week.
They resemble hoarfrost, which is not uncommon if you watch for it. According to the AMS, it grows whenever it’s cold outside and if there’s ample water vapor nearby.
