What are your qualifications for this office?
First elected to council in 2016, I currently serve as President for Crystal’s Economic Development Authority and appointed to a second term on the Crystal Charter Commission. Previously, I served as a council liaison for the Park/Recreation and Environmental Quality Commissions. Community involvement includes serving on the Crystal Frolics Committee for the past 8 years, the Crystal Parks & Recreation Commission for 5 years, and assisting with various area organization fundraisers.
What do you hope to accomplish in office?
In my first term, I helped improve city communications, complete the clean-up and updates of our city code, strengthen Crystal’s financial standing with responsible budgets, and empower neighbors to get involved. If re-elected, I will work to increase inclusion and diversity in our city leadership, staff and commissions. Public safety with our community policing model is a top priority along with building community, and keeping Crystal an affordable place to live, work and do business.
