What are your qualifications for this office?
As a policy maker, I listen to the facts and seek community input to make fair and rational common-sense decisions. My only “agenda” is what is best for BC. As a former Director of Operations, my skills in negotiations, budget and management are relevant to this position. My husband (34 yrs) and I are 33 yr residents and chose BC to raise our two children (BCHS graduates). I have been an active member of our community for 21 years and will continue to be a positive advocate for our city.
What do you hope to accomplish in office?
I hope to see a sensible and safe solution to Hwy 252 with the least resident impact. A priority for me is creating a vibrant opportunity site community with a variety of options: affordable, market rate, and luxury housing with a variety of retail, restaurants and green space. Quality development is crucial to creating a prosperous future which will lessen the property tax burden on homeowners. I am a leader with experience which is vital in these uncertain times, I ask for your vote 8/11.
