City leaders from the nine I-94 chamber communities share business related news and updates! The State of the Cities event is a Chamber favorite and hosted in 2026  Members $65, Non-Members $80. 

The tournament begins at 1:00 PM, but the fun starts early—festivities kick off at 11:30 AM!  At noon, enjoy a special opening ceremony featuring a cadet swearing-in, posting of the colors, the National Anthem, and a full lineup of food vendors, kids’ games, and more family fun on the ice.  

Get your sled out and head to Lions Park in Brooklyn Center on Feb, 7, Mar. 7 from 1pm to 3pm for family sledding Saturdays.  Join other community members for sledding fun and a warm beverage!

Don't miss the next Winter Market in the Valley at Brookview Golden Valley.  It's your chance to find fresh seasonal produce, handcrafted goods and unique artisan items.  The Market takes place on the second Sunday of the next few months.  

Enjoy a great meal.  Bring family and friends to support the local food shelf.  There will also be a silent auction to add to the fun!

Explore the farm at night on snowshoes under the full moon! Walk the back loop and warm up by the campfire with hot chocolate and s’mores. This is a pre-registration event, limited quantities of snowshoes are provided. Feel free to bring your own if you have them. The cost is $8 per person.

This year’s celebration embraces the national theme, “100 Years of Commemoration,” honoring a century of preserving, uplifting, and reflecting on Black history and contributions. Attendees can enjoy, for free, live performances, a vendor/resource fair, and food from a local Black owned business (limited supply).

Dodgeball fun for ages 7-10 with glow in the dark dodgeballs, music, pizza, and tons of excitement.  $30 for residents, $33 for non-residents.

Meet staff and learn about the variety of positions available this summer with Golden Valley Parks and Recreation, Brookview Golf and Lawn Bowling, Three One Six Bar and Grill, and Golden Valley Public Works.

The training sessions are open to teenagers and adults who are interested in learning to help save lives. Participants may register for one of the below training dates to learn hands-only CPR – chest compressions without mouth-to-mouth breaths – and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
