This year’s celebration embraces the national theme, “100 Years of Commemoration,” honoring a century of preserving, uplifting, and reflecting on Black history and contributions. Attendees can enjoy, for free, live performances, a vendor/resource fair, and food from a local Black owned business (limited supply).

Head to the Brooklyn Center Community Center Pool for swimming and a movie on Friday, February 20th starting at 6pm.

Dodgeball fun for ages 7-10 with glow in the dark dodgeballs, music, pizza, and tons of excitement.  $30 for residents, $33 for non-residents.

Winter musical performances at Wayzata High School from February 20th - 28th.

Youth ages 11 to 15 can learn the skills needed to care for children and infants.  It all happens on Saturday, February 21st from 8:15am to 6:15pm at Brookview Golden Valley.  The cost is $175 per person.
