The tournament begins at 1:00 PM, but the fun starts early—festivities kick off at 11:30 AM!  At noon, enjoy a special opening ceremony featuring a cadet swearing-in, posting of the colors, the National Anthem, and a full lineup of food vendors, kids’ games, and more family fun on the ice.  

Get your sled out and head to Lions Park in Brooklyn Center on Feb, 7, Mar. 7 from 1pm to 3pm for family sledding Saturdays.  Join other community members for sledding fun and a warm beverage!

This event will offer a variety of free activities, including ice skating, snowshoeing, sled dog rides and tube slides. Participants may wander through the snow village or enjoy a winter train ride. Don't miss the next Winter Market in the Valley at Brookview Golden Valley.  It's your chance to find fresh seasonal produce, handcrafted goods and unique artisan items.  The Market takes place on the second Sunday of the next few months.  

Enjoy a great meal.  Bring family and friends to support the local food shelf.  There will also be a silent auction to add to the fun!

Explore the farm at night on snowshoes under the full moon! Walk the back loop and warm up by the campfire with hot chocolate and s’mores. This is a pre-registration event, limited quantities of snowshoes are provided. Feel free to bring your own if you have them. The cost is $8 per person.
