Greetings CCX Media Team!
My name is Phenda McBorrough and I am a proud resident of Brooklyn Park, where I live with my husband. I currently work in the Advertising industry but my professional roots began in broadcast television news and I have been fortunate to work behind-the-scenes as a Producer in newsrooms in New York City and throughout Minnesota.
Since joining the CCX family in 2017, my goal has been to tell stories that highlight the impact and achievements of the thriving Northwest suburban Minneapolis neighborhoods, with a focus on the Liberian community. My coverage has included the 25th-anniversary celebration of one of Minnesota’s first Liberian churches, United Christian Fellowship Church (U.C.F.C.), and a widely viewed profile on the rapper known as Bucky Raww’s first-ever performance in Minneapolis.
While seeing my work come to fruition has been re-warding, the highlight has been the content creation process with the CCX team. The collaborative environment has fostered a culture of learning that I am proud to be a part of. As a media professional, my goal is to encourage our community, particularly young people, to leverage this great community resource for all of its opportunities: learning, access, and connection. I would love the opportunity to join the CCX board and continue to advocate and serve the CCX team.

Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Paul Natto and I was an original Northwest Community Television member from 1987 through 2000 then I moved to Las Vegas. In 2012, I transitioned back to Minnesota and now reside in Crystal and qualified for CCX membership credentials in 2019.
Since 2019 at CCX Create, we are in the third season of a car show program entitled, GARAGE. As recent as October 2021 I continue to dabble with other pilots by producing a comedy show titled Havoc!, in addition to a three-episode package of a Hawaiian program called, Da Fro-zen Ohana. In December, I’ll be testing a pilot focusing on Minnesota car show photographers and videographers, titled, Click!
Why am I seeking a board seat? To share my experience as a small business owner and to make a difference in using my skill sets.
How can I make an impact? Introduce new ideas and take action to generate additional revenue streams along FCC mandates and to understand the processes.
With over 12 years of producing Las Vegas radio and television shows, my interests are to continue learning about new techniques, trending studio equipment, and becoming proficient in graphics, lighting, audio & video editing using Adobe products.
Since 2012 I’ve owned and operated a 24/7 internet radio and video streaming station, KSIZ Sizzling 99.9 and can be heard Monday through Friday 8-10 AM on ksizsizzlin999.com/listen as Paulie Spit.
My background also includes working in the Film and Television industry for 34 years that provides licensed music, songwriting, vocal drops and instrumentation through my ASCAP-based company, Fresh Flavor Publishing.
Whether in-studio, on location, in production or behind budget talks, I’ll be in the trenches with the team.
I look forward to meeting current CCX members and increasing the flow of new, younger creative talent.
