Diversity Minute featuring Dr. Rassheedah Watts premieres on CCX Media
CCX Media diversity initiative collaborates with local diversity strategist Dr. Rassheedah Watts
CCX Media is in the midst of an initiative intended to intentionally focus time and resources around the topics of Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Justice.
Early efforts included surveying nearly 200 community partners to gather valuable information, production of a video explaining the heart and goals behind the initiative, and development of this special project called Diversity Minute.
Dr. Rassheedah Watts, one of our area educational partners who participated in the survey, stepped forward with an idea that CCX Media came alongside through our Create department which allows community members the opportunity to produce programming.

Dr. Rassheedah, also known as The Inclusive Community Architect™, is a diversity strategist, allyship coach, author and educator. The purpose of Diversity Minute is to raise your awareness on issues of diversity, equity and inclusion because it matters…to all of us. The goal is to help you be a better-informed change agent, ally and friend who can come alongside to build inclusive and just communities where we can all thrive.
While some of our societal issues such as sexism, racism and other -isms may seem too big for any one of us to solve, we each have our role in being a part of the solution. This minute is designed to raise your awareness and give you actionable steps so that you can take it further on your own.

Dr. Rassheedah Watts, author of “How to Be an Ally and Create Inclusion Using The A.C.A. PillarsTM, A 3-Step Approach,” is an award-winning diversity strategist, sought-after speaker, and certified group trainer on topics of diversity, race, leadership, and its intersections within business and education. Her audiences include state agencies, educators, business, and students. Dr. Rassheedah’s thought leadership includes features in Authority Magazine, BuzzFeed, Arianna Huffington’s Thrive Global, along with various broadcast appearances. Combining her expertise as a Chief Diversity Officer and educator, Dr. Rassheedah works with individuals and organizations to elevate belonging and drive mind-set and cultural change solutions that bring about transformational results.
Holding a number of degrees and professional certifications, including a degree in broadcast arts, Dr. Rassheedah is no stranger to bringing concept to creation for a broad viewership. Along with producing Diversity Minute, she produced a roundtable series for KSFS Media, and regularly hosts a number of educational webinars. Hailing from San Francisco, California, Dr. Rassheedah overcame a life of poverty, yet the cultural richness she received from her community gave her a distinct multi-cultural, global lens that fuels the success of her work today.
