Yellow Tree Theatre Summer Concert Series in Osseo
Yellow Tree Theatre is excited to bring its Summer Concert Series back to Boerboom Park in Osseo, as Yellow Tree Artistic Director Austene Van says, “I think it’s important for people to come together, and music and food are some of the most wonderful things for people to gather around and share with your neighbors and your friends. “And there will be a wide variety of both music and food, Van goes on to say, “We’re gonna have rock bands, we’re gonna have jazz fusion bands, we’re gonna have some gospel, some R&B, some soul, 80s tunes, 70s tunes, some musicals, it’s gonna be just a variety. “And the types of food, she says, “Taco trucks, Jamaican food, Poi, Pilipino food, some beer. So that’s to start, maybe some ice cream, maybe some Bundt cakes, but for sure they’re gonna experience incredible musicians from around the Twin Cities. “The concerts take place on several Thursdays at 7PM, and one Saturday, throughout the Summer at Boerboom Park in Osseo. Van offers an invitation to the community, “Come with your chairs, and your blankets, and come ready to have a good time. Sun, fun, food, music. We welcome you, can’t wait to share space. “Each concert will include a brief excerpt from an upcoming Yellow Tree Theatre show and a mini performance by Treehouse Summer Camp students.
