Summer Series Skateboard Contest Coming to Plymouth Skate Park
People of all ages are welcome to hop on a skateboard and compete for some fun prizes in the Skateboard Contest that’s part of this year’s Summer Series. It’s free to participate and all skill levels are welcome. Event organizers say they have seen kids as young as three and as old as 60 hop on skateboards and compete. The event is hosted by the City of Plymouth and 3rd Lair Skatepark and Skate shop.
“I think it’s really cool because there are a lot of people who really passionate about skateboarding,” said 3rd Lair Skatepark Owner Mark Rodriguez. “Lots of young people, old people, people from all walks of life put a lot of effort and time into skateboarding.”
The Skateboard Contest will take place on Tuesday, August 9th at the Plymouth Creek Park located at 3625 Fernbrook Lane in Plymouth.
