Summer a Busy Season for Robbinsdale Wine and Spirits
The boxes in the aisles at Robbinsdale Wine and Spirits on a recent afternoon meant only one thing: it’s nearly the Fourth of July.

Robbinsdale Wine and Spirits managers say July Fourth is the busiest time of the summer for their shop.
“It’s our busiest time of the year, other than Christmas and New Years,” said Liquor Operations Manager Chris Huber, who runs the municipal liquor store that’s been open for nearly six years in its current location near HyVee. “(The deliveries) will slow down throughout August, and then they’ll start ramping back up come fall.”
Beer, seltzers, and ready-to-drink cocktails are all big sellers this summer, Huber said.
The proceeds from the store help fund Robbinsdale’s park system.
“It’s a great way to support your community, your local parks,” said Huber. “Shop with the muni liquor store!”
