Robbinsdale’s 76th Whiz Bang Days is Back July 11-14
If it’s summertime and it’s Robbinsdale, that means it’s time once again for Whiz Bang Days. The multi-day festival brings together all kinds of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
The highlights include the parade down West Broadway (Sunday, 3:00 p.m.) and the Ambassador program, where young people vie to represent the city all year long.
“They volunteer through the communities of New Hope, Crystal, and Robbinsdale and then participate in parades to represent our community out in other communities,” said one of the organizers, Pam Scheiller.
New this year is a food truck event on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. near the car show, said another organizer, Becky Schwartz.
“It’s a chance for everyone to come out and celebrate our town, spend some time together, and just have a great time,” Schwartz said.
