Robbinsdale Yard Waste Curbside Pick-Up Starts April 15
Robbinsdale’s second full year of curbside solid waste removal services from Republic Services will bring back yard waste collection starting April 15.
Curbside solid waste pick-up customers in Robbinsdale have dedicated yard waste bins from Republic Services.
“Last year we had a successful end of season clean-up, and I think that set us up for a good start to the upcoming yard waste, but people are anticipating it to come soon,” said City Clerk Chase Peterson-Etem. “You can have your 96-gallon bin of yard waste, and then, additionally, on top of that, if you do have extra yard waste right now, you can put out five extra bags of yard waste.”
The yard waste is picked up on the same day every week that your trash and recycling is picked up through the end of November, said Peterson-Etem.
“It’s absolutely a convenience. You know, not all cities have organized collection or yard waste collection in general, and so being able to have that dedicated bin for yard waste, those extra bags for yard waste, it really is nice for residents to have weekly pick-up that they know and can count on,” he said.
