Robbinsdale Hosts Plant, Tree Sales and Arbor Day Event
The City of Robbinsdale is offering several opportunities to either improve your own yard or help improve city park space this spring.
Native Plant Sale
The city is offering Robbinsdale residents native plant kits. Each kit includes 36 plants divided amongst six unique species, with several different kit designs offered to accommodate a variety of sites or landscape goals. Each kit costs $60 and plants roughly 40-60 square feet. According to the city forester, the goal of the sale is to see an increase of native plants used in Robbinsdale yards.
Tree Sale
The 2025 Robbinsdale Tree Sale is now officially open until April 18 at 4:00 p.m. The city is once again partnering with Tree Trust to offer residents several tree species at low costs. The trees will be available for pick up on May 1 and May 3 only.
Arbor Day celebrations in Robbinsdale will be Saturday, April 26 at Kelly Park.
Arbor Day Celebration
Join the City of Robbinsdale for its annual Arbor Day park clean-up and tree planting event on Saturday, April 26 at 9:30 a.m. at Kelly Park. City staff will be on-hand to talk more about its forestry efforts. More information on the event is found here.
