Registration Open for New Hope Dance’s 2025-2026 Program Year
Registration is now open for new students at New Hope Dance for the 2025-2026 program year.
“We are a full-school year program,” said long-time director, Melissa Guse. “Our tuition is divided into three, and tuition includes costumes, so when you pay, you’re paying for your costumes and lessons so that we’re not constantly ‘Oh, you need to pay for this now,’ or ‘Oh, surprise, now there’s this fee.’ We try to keep it very predictable and very cost-effective.”

New Hope Dance is holding registration for new students starting Monday, August 4, for the 2025-2026 program year.
When Guse began, she said there were about 60 students in the program. Now, more than 30 years later, there are 300 students.
“I can honestly say I’m having second generations coming through, where I taught the parents and now their kids are here,” said Guse. “That’s really fun and special.”
The program meets in a third-floor room overlooking the older ice sheet inside New Hope Ice Arena. It offers classes for students as young as two-and-a-half and offers intensive solo instruction, too.
“We are inclusive. We don’t separate anybody out. Everybody can dance,” said Guse. “We try to provide all the opportunities big studios provide but at a very competitive rate.”
You can register online through New Hope Parks and Recreation or by calling New Hope City Hall, or by stopping by the dance studio at the arena.
