Plymouth’s Spring Arts Showcase, Primavera, Set for April 10-13
The 28th annual Primavera, the City of Plymouth’s spring time arts showcase, will take place April 10-13 at Plymouth Community Center.
“We have a very talented artist community here,” said Alyssa Fram, art supervisor for the city. “It’s just a wonderful experience for them.”
On the first night, Thursday, April 10, there will be a literary event in conjunction with Plymouth READS.
On the second night, Wayzata High School’s jazz band will perform, and on the third and final night, the Plymouth Concert Band and Blue Lotus Middle Eastern Dancers will perform.
There will be art from more than 60 local artists, including students from area schools.
“Everything is free and open to the public,” said Fram. “The artist work will actually be on display after opening weekend until May 27.”
