Plymouth to Host Evening of Free Outdoor Music with Ladies of the 80s
The city of Plymouth is gearing up to showcase an unforgettable evening of live music. The city will be hosting an outdoor concert featuring tribute band, Ladies of the 80s, for a celebration of iconic hit songs by female artists from the 1980s. The free concert will take place on Friday, July 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Hilde Performance Center.
The concert will showcase renditions of chart-topping tracks from the likes of Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Cher, Joan Jett, Tiffany, and many more. A variety of food trucks will be stationed at the event and the Plymouth Civic League will be selling beer and wine in support of Music in Plymouth. Nonalcoholic drink options will also be available courtesy of Sobar.
Gates Open at 5 p.m.
Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. so attendees can secure their spot with lawn chairs or blankets.
“We ask that you come at 5:00 p.m. and no sooner, and at that time there’ll be plenty of spots to put down your blankets [and] chairs, and people can bring in small coolers if they like,” stated Alyssa Fram, Plymouth Recreation Supervisor.
The concert is free and open to the public.
Later in August, the city of Plymouth will play host to The Fabulous Armadillos featuring Tim Haussner. That concert will take place at the Hilde on Friday, Aug. 25 from 6 to 9 p.m.
