Plymouth Hosts Second Music in Millennium Concert on Aug. 20
(CITY OF PLYMOUTH PRESS RELEASE) – The City of Plymouth presents Music in Millennium – an all-new outdoor summer concert series held in the Millennium Garden at the Plymouth Community Center, 14800 34th Ave. N.
A popular site for weddings and special events, the Millennium Garden features a variety of plantings, trails, walkways, fountains, a labyrinth and open space located on the grounds of the Plymouth Community Center.
Plymouth Rockers will perform 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 20. Since 1991, the Plymouth Rockers have entertained various Twin Cities audiences. They boast a membership of more than 65 men and women, ages 55 or older, from 15 cities in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. The group is sponsored by the City of Plymouth and supported by Metropolitan Regional Arts Council grants.
“The Millennium Garden is truly a gem in Plymouth,” Recreation Supervisor Alyssa Fram said. “Combining this gorgeous outdoor setting with music from talented local performers is sure to create memorable summer evenings.”
