Osseo Night to Unite Returns Aug. 2
After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the city of Osseo plans to make the most of this year’s Night to Unite event on Aug. 2. Night to Unite features bounce houses, hot dogs and ice cream, emergency vehicle tours, and most importantly, a chance to connect with neighbors.
Officer Tony Mortinson of the Osseo Police Department says Night to Unite is designed to help bring people together.
“The main concept and why we thought of this years ago was everyone knows each other on their own block but do the people in the Northeast section of town know the people in the Southeast? The thought was let’s bring people together in one centralized location and they can converse,” explained Mortinson.
Officer Mortinson urges residents to attend and bring any concerns they might have about crime or neighborhood concerns to him and other officers.
The event will take place August 2nd from 5-8 p.m. at the Osseo City Center.
