Osseo Conducts Survey to Better Understand Business Needs
The city of Osseo has launched a comprehensive survey to gain insights into the business and industry landscape in the area.
The results of the summer survey will be utilized to help city officials better understand the needs of local businesses and enhance the relationship between the city and its business community.

“First of all, we want to make sure we’re always working to improve the relationship between the city and local businesses. We know that it’s really hard to run a successful business these days, and we’re proud of our little local business community here, but we also want to ensure that of all the obstacles businesses face and being successful, we’re not one of them,” stated Joe Amerman, Community Management Coordinator, Osseo.
Grant Gives Businesses Opportunity to Produce Promotional Video
Osseo recently secured the Business District Incentive Grant from Hennepin County to support marketing efforts for local businesses. The grant enables the city to collaborate with CCX Media to create promotional videos specifically tailored for small businesses in town.
Participation in the promotional videos is voluntary and comes at no cost to the businesses.
“We want to support their work because their success is essential to the success of the city as a whole,” said Amerman.
The city of Osseo is urging more businesses to participate in the survey, emphasizing that their input is crucial in shaping the best policies and programs for the community.
So far this summer, nearly 150 surveys have been mailed out to local businesses.
