As many are home bound now, city officials want to remind residents not to clog the sewer system by flushing paper towels, napkins, tissues or wipes, even if they claim to be flushable. They can clog your home’s pipes and can jam equipment at wastewater treatment plants, causing costly backups and inconvenience.
