New Residential Community Being Built in Northwest Maple Grove
Nearly 200 acres of farmland in northwest Maple Grove will be transformed into a new housing community called Evanswood. It’s being developed by Twin Cities Land Development and will ultimately be a combination of single family homes and rental townhomes.
“That’s a 375-unit residential development. There’s single family detached homes on this side of the creek and then about 160 townhomes on the other side of the creek,” stated Peter Vickerman, Maple Grove Planning Manager.
The cost of single family homes will range from $700,000 to $1.5 million dollars.
Twin Cities Land Development will be making significant public infrastructure improvements to the Evanswood Community in the form of new roads and trails, as well as a stormwater management system. Total infrastructure costs are around $26 million.
Construction on the Evanswood development will last through 2027.
