New Hope Street Construction Projects for 2020
Street and utility work is underway in New Hope. Centerpoint Energy is replacing a gas line under Winnetka Avenue from 42nd Avenue down to 27th Avenue. Once that project is complete, Hennepin County will mill and overlay the roadway. Elsewhere, 36 1/2 Circle and Northwoods Parkway are being fully reconstructed and the Hidden Valley neighborhood between Boone Avenue and Highway 169 and from 36th Avenue down to 27th Avenue will get a mill and overlay, with the top layer of pavement being ground up and then repaved.
