New Hope Plans Art Show, Trunk or Treat on Oct. 26
Stop by New Hope City Hall on Oct. 26 for not one, but two great community events.
The New Hope Human Rights Commission’s Colors of the World display features artwork from area kindergartners. The commission donated nearly 500 boxes of Crayola’s “Colors of the World” crayons were to students, and the students were asked to draw portraits depicting themselves or their family. Their artwork will be featured on the walls of New Hope City Hall. The city says it’s “a beautiful representation of the New Hope community from the perspective of children.”
Then, stick around for Trunk or Treat, hosted by New Hope Police and the Crime and Prevention Fund. The event is free.
Trick-or-treaters can make their way through the parking lot, collecting goodies at each stop. Participants need to bring a bag or pumpkin to collect treats and of course, family-friendly costumes are welcome and encouraged.
If you are a business who would like to host a trunk, contact Officer Kallio at 763-398-1229 or bkallio@newhopemn.gov by Oct. 20.
