New Hope Kicks off Season of Music in the Park On May 29

Music in the Park is back in New Hope this summer.

New Hope Performance Center will host seven concerts this summer from a variety of musical acts.

New Hope Performance Center near the Aquatic Center and City Hall will host concerts for a wide variety of musical tastes and evenings of fun for the whole family.

The season starts with Absolutely Elvis on May 29.

The rest of the season schedule is:

Minneapolis Commodores Barbershop Acapella Chorus – June 5
This group features singing styles ranging from spirituals, vocal swing jazz, pop and country. Sponsored by Herself Health.

Kid Power with Rachael – June 12
*morning performance 10-11:15 a.m.
Dance along to an interactive and educational animal program featuring Rachael Kroog. Sponsored by At Ease Health & Wellness and Empower You Physical Therapy.

Los Rebeldes – July 10
This Mexican American group brings the styles of Tex-Mex, conjunto, country, folk-rock and cumbia.

Pan Handlers Steel Drum Band – July 31
This unique band offers a mix of Caribbean, rock and pop music.

The Michael Handler Project – Aug. 7
This acoustic duo plays a variety of popular music from all genres.

The Dollys – Aug. 28
This group of three vocalists harmonizes songs from Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, Waylon and Willie and others.
