New Hope Welcomes Back Farmers Market this Summer
New Hope’s farmers market is back this season–the first time since 2022–and it will be run by the city for the first time.
It will be set up on Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. between June 5 and September 25 in the parking lot of New Hope Church, said Aaron Thelen, the city’s recreation supervisor.
“We just heard so many community residents just saying how much they miss it, so they were really excited to hear it was coming back,” said Thelen. The market was run by volunteers before.
“Just to know that you can get fresh produce, fresh food from a local market from farmers who are just excited to offer that this summer,” said Thelen.
The city is still accepting applications for vendors.
