Maple Grove to Host Tails and Ales for Dog Owners and their Families on May 18
(CITY OF MAPLE GROVE PRESS RELEASE) – Tails & Ales, hosted by Maple Grove Parks & Recreation, The Maple Grove Lions, and Inspire & Flourish, is set to be an unforgettable celebration of pets and community! This free event returns to Central Park of Maple Grove on Saturday, May 18 from 2 to 7 p.m.
Starting off with the Wags & Wiggles fundraising walk at 1:30 p.m., participants will have the chance to raise funds for PUPS (Pets Under Police Security), a local impound in Maple Grove. The first 100 registrants will receive a complimentary t-shirt and swag bag. Register at bit.ly/wagsandwiggleswalk2024.
Following the walk, Tails & Ales will feature a vendor show showcasing 20+ local businesses, organizations, rescues, and non-profits, offering a range of pet-related products and services. Attendees can engage in interactive activities for both themselves and their furry companions.
The event will also include adoptable animals, art activities, raffles and prizes, lawn games, a photo booth with fun props for pets, and demo from the Maple Grove Police K9 Unit at 4 p.m. Live music by Jeff James & Jessie Becker will add to the festive atmosphere, creating a perfect backdrop for this community gathering.
Tails & Ales is a family friendly event and welcomes all well-behaved pets on leashes.
