Maple Grove Offers Businesses Links to Help Them Grow and Succeed
Maple Grove city leaders are offering to connect business owners with county and regional resources to help grow their businesses.

“We partner with Elevate Hennepin,” said City of Maple Grove Economic Development Manager Jennifer Monson. “One of the initial steps of the program is to meet with a business navigator to set up some initial meetings to see how you could benefit from 25 hours of free business consulting.”
Monson said she wants to connect more businesses to this and other resources, like utility rebates from companies like CenterPoint Energy and others.
“All of these organizations have rebate and inventive programs: if you’re doing capital improvements to your building if you’re installing new HVAC equipment, or specifically for restaurants,” said Monson. “A lot of restaurants have really high up-front costs, and CenterPoint Energy through their programs can help reduce the cost of building new equipment.”
She also pointed out repeated marketing and networking opportunities available with groups like the I-94 Chamber of Commerce and the Maple Grove Business Association.
