Maple Grove Juneteenth Celebration Features Music, Dance, and Speakers
June 19 is Juneteenth, and Maple Grove is celebrating freedom.
This free community event will have a Black-owned vendor fair, an art display by KOBI Bannerman, activities for kids, and food trucks. Hear keynote speaker author Paulette Bonneur, enjoy a step performance by Step with Soul, jam out to Big Mike and the Funktion, and more.
The Juneteenth Celebration was organized by Parks and Recreation staff working together with a community group to plan the event.
It all happens on Monday, June 19 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Town Green. Come celebrate Juneteenth in Maple Grove.
