Join the Fun at Parker’s Lake Play Day: Plymouth’s Ultimate Family Event of the Summer
Plymouth’s Summer Beach Series is heating up with the upcoming family event, Parkers Lake Play Day.
“This will be the only event that we have here at Parkers Lake, but it’s just such a beautiful site, and we found that it’s starting to get a little underused,” said Katie Yandell, Plymouth Recreation Supervisor.
The city wanted to highlight some of the features that makes the park a popular family destination.
“We will have a giant game of lava monster at the playground, we’ll have some stand up paddle boarding, and there will be sand play,” Yandell stated. “Beaches will be guarded with your city of Plymouth lifeguards. We will have some inflatables so bring swimsuits… [go] fishing off of the dock.”
Food trucks will be on site selling summertime staples like ice cream and snow cones.
Visitors are also welcome to bring a cooler of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
