Hello! Plymouth Offers Assistance to Visitors, Residents
The City of Plymouth’s Destination Marketing Organization, Hello! Plymouth, launched last year with one goal in mind: to let everyone, everywhere know what Plymouth has to offer.
“We hope to serve as the one-stop shop as a resource where everybody can go: residents, tourists, visitors, whatever you are, we want people to go to HelloPlymouth.com,” said Destination Marketing Coordinator Katie Langland. “You can search by different amenities or whatever you’re looking to do on our website and find the calendar of events and submit the events you might have happening as well.”

Hello! Plymouth seeks to match visitors and residents with specific amenities–like restaurants with patios–in the city.
Langland said visitors in town for sports tournaments or getaways in the Twin Cities or concerts at the Hilde can take advantage–and so can residents.
“You can go to our website and you can sort by things to do and you can filter by indoor activities, outdoor, you can search by different cuisine types, or what you like to eat. You can search by ‘pizza,’ if you’re looking for a restaurant that has a patio, that is dog-friendly, you can do that all on our website in one spot,” said Langland. “One other really nice feature on the website is a map, so you can take a look at where you’re located or where you might be staying, where your hotel is, and then you can see where everything is located around you and find what may be the closest place you could go.”
The goal of Hello! Plymouth is also to help those interested in hosting events of all sizes in the city to work with vendors and event spaces to find a way to meet their needs.
“We can help find an event space that might work for your group and then we serve as that contact to reach out to all of those places,” said Langland.
