Good Recreation Vibes in Crystal
It’s time for some good vibes in Crystal! The Crystal Spring & Summer Recreation brochure is out, and now’s the time to register. Recreation Manager Scott Berggren says, “Pick your sport, tennis, volleyball, baseball, we have ’em all out in our parks for youth. When you go to our Crystal Cove Aquatic Center we’ll be offering swimming lessons all Summer, it’s a great way, whether you’re a new swimmer or a more experienced swimmer to kinda brush up on those swimming skills. When you get into the adults we have a great program called Community Tripsters. They go to some great destinations in Minnesota.” There are lots of fun activities to check out in the recreation brochure, many of which you don’t need to register for, as Berggren adds, “Really excited for the Crystal Farmers Market to enter into its second year. That’s up at Becker Park, that’ll be on Tuesdays, we’ll have some new vendors, some new farms that will be up there selling produce. We also have free fitness in the park, that will be taking place mainly at Becker Park, but then we have Yoga over at Bassett Creek Park, we’re also trying a mindfulness walk over at Bassett Creek Park this year.” He goes on to say that, “We want to make sure that we have things for all ages. all groups, all abilities to participate in.
